(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office has released details into a single-vehicle crash last Friday that injured a Lake Park woman.
Authorities say 22-year-old Crystal Elsbecker of Lake Park was driving a 2005 Chevrolet westbound on Highway 9 near Montgomery when the vehicle left the road and collided with a mailbox. It then rolled, coming to rest on its top.
Elsbecker was trapped inside the vehicle. She was freed from the vehicle and was transported to Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake with non-incapacitating injuries.
Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $4,500.
The crash took place around 5:45 p.m.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Spirit Lake First Responders and Lakes Regional Healthcare ambulance and paramedics.
