U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley will be making his way to northwest Iowa later this month. Grassley, who has represented the state in Washington D.C. since 1980, will tour the region from March 21-24. During that time he will hold town meetings, tour various businesses and health care sites, speak with service clubs, and discuss issues with high school students.
On March 23, Grassley will conduct a town meeting in Spencer at 5:15pm. It will be held in the Board and Conference Room at the Clay County Courthouse. The following day he will stop in Emmetsburg at 8:00am for a second town meeting with Palo Alto County residents. The site of that gathering will be the county’s Elections Center on Broadway Street. From there it’s on to Estherville and the campus of Iowa Lakes Community College for an Emmet County Town Meeting. That session will start at 10:00am. His final stop in the area will be at noon on March 24, when he will meet with the Spirit Lake Kiwanis at Wesley Place on Hill Avenue.
All the town meetings are open to the public and will last about an hour.
