(Spencer)– CAASA, the Centers Against Abuse and Sexual Assault, is looking for a new Executive Director.
Rhonda Dean of Spencer announced today (Monday) she’s stepping down from the position effective April 25th. She’s accepted a job with the Iowa Attorney General’s Office Crime Victim Assistance Division. Dean says she’ll continue working with assault victims in her new position as a Community Specialist.
In a news release, Dean, who’s worked with CAASA the past 13 years, says she’s going to miss working with the organization, but is looking forward to her new position.
Julie Schulenberg, who works out of CAASA’s Cherokee office, has been appointed interim Director while the board looks for Dean’s successor.
