(Spirit Lake)– Plans announced earlier this week to reconstruct the Spirit Lake High School track and install artificial turf on the football field have resulted in the American Cancer Society relocating its Relay For Life event which had been scheduled to be held there in July.
Di Lorenzen tells KUOO news the event has been moved to the Okoboji High School track in Milford. Lorenzen adds there’s been a slight change in the schedule of events due to the fact this year’s event is being held on a Friday, instead of Saturday as in the past.
