Poker Run To Serve As Fundraiser For Ia. Great Lakes Red Cross Chapter

(Arnolds Park)– A motorcycle poker run to be held this Saturday (Aug. 20th) will serve as a fundraiser for the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chapter of the American Red Cross.

Cindy Voss, the chapter’s Executive Director, tells KUOO news the event is being held in conjunction with Polaris Industries’ Victory Motorcycle Rally. She says it will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday with registration Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Red Cross tent that will be set up on the green space at the Arnolds Park Amusement Park…Click here to hear mp3 file

A meal will also be available not only to the participants, but the general public as well for a freewill donation…

Voss says completed poker hands will need to be turned in to the Red Cross tent by 2:30 p.m. Saturday to qualify for prizes. The cost for the poker ride is $25 per bike plus $10 for each passenger, with a free T-shirt for the first 250 that sign up. All active military members will be able to ride for free.
