(Washington, D.C.)– Renewable energy projects in several Iowa cities, including one in Emmet county, have been awarded funding through a federal program.
Wallingford will be getting $10,163 through the USDA’s Rural Energy For America Program.
Other northwest Iowa cities awarded funding include Algona, which will receive $14,722 and LeMars which will get $7,749.
Statewide, 21 agricultural producers and small businesses were awarded $253,548 through the program.
