(Spencer)– A Spencer woman has announced her candidacy for the new House District 2 seat.
Megan Hess is officially announcing today (Tues.) she’s running for the seat to represent all of Clay and Palo Alto counties and southern Dickinson county.
Hess is a Spencer High School graduate. She has degree is law, politics and society and business from Drake University and attended the William Mitchell College of Law.

Hess has had experience working as a page in Congress and the state house where she worked for the Chairman of the Public Safety Committee. Hess has also done some work at the White House.
