(Primghar)– A two-vehicle collision last Thursday at the intersection of Highway 59 and O’Brien County Road B-40 injured a Sheldon woman.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says 58-year-old Shirley Jones of Primghar was southbound on Highway 59 and was attempting to make a left-turn when she turned into the path of a northbound vehicle driven by 70-year-old Rose Marie Mordick of Sheldon.
A news release says Mordick sustained injuries in the collision, but it didn’t say whether or not she was taken to a hospital. No injuries were reported to Jones.
Just under $4,000 in damage was estimated to a 2003 Mercury driven by Mordick; damage to a 2008 Saturn driven by Jones was estimated at $4,300.
The collision took place around 5:20 p.m.
