(Milford)– Charges have been filed against an Arnolds Park man accused of passing fraudulent financial items at area banks.
An investigation by the Milford Police Department resulted in the arrest of 53-year-old Ronald Goldberg of Arnolds Park. Goldberg was arrested on two counts of ongoing criminal conduct…class “B” felonies; one count of money laundering…a class “C” felony; and two counts of theft in the second degree…class “D” felonies.
Authorities say a subsequent search of Goldberg’s residence at 35 Hinshaw Street in Arnolds Park resulted in them seizing several computers, cell phones, cash and documents.
Goldberg was booked into the Dickinson county jail where he’s being held on a $40,000 bond.
The Milford Police Department was assisted by the Arnolds Park Police Department, Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office and the Dickinson County Attorney’s Office.
Authorities say the investigation continues and that additional charges are possible.
