Schutt says conservation plans must be developed for the entire included in an EQUIP contract. Practices include but are not limited to grassed waterways, waste storage facilities, grade stabilization structures, pest and nutrient management, no-till and biofilters.
Schutt says as of now the application period is ongoing. But even then he says producers interested in signing up should visit their local Farm Service Agency Office as soon as possible…Click here to hear mp3 file
