(Orange City)– A traffic stop earlier in the week in Sioux county resulted in the arrest of a Worthington, Minnesota man on drug charges.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy conducted the stop shortly after 10:00 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 60 northeast of Alton.
A subsequent investigation involving the sheriff’s canine resulted in the dog making a hit on the trunk of the vehicle.
The driver, 18-year-old Keophothone Rounobon of Worthington was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver, failure to affix a drug tax stamp, speeding and no insurance.
Rounobon was booked into the Sioux county jail.
