(Arnolds Park)– With the coldest weather of the season so far here, the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce is announcing some important dates leading up to the 2012 University of Okoboji Winter Games.
The first organizational meeting is set for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, November 17th at the Hedberg Theatre in the Maritime Museum building. Deadlines will be announced along with the anouncement of the naming sponsor for the 32nd annual U of O Winter Games.
The calendar of events will be announced Monday, December 19th and voting for the 2012 cheerleaders will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday, January 9th.
Jeff Thee of Spirit Lake is the chairman of the 2012 University of Okoboji Winter Games; Erin Roe is the Co-Chair.
The University of Okoboji Winter Games will be held the weekend of January 27th-29th, 2012.
