(Spencer)– Minor injuries were reported in a single vehicle crash this (Tues.) morning on a Clay county road near Royal.
Authorities say 17-year-old Taylor Fahnlander of Royal was driving a Chevy Malibu when she lost control on a gravel road. The vehicle slid and went into the east ditch where it rolled on its top.
A passerby helped Fahnlander out of the vehicle. She sustained minor injuries but apparently didn’t seek immediate medical attention.
$7,500 in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
The crash took place around 8:00 a.m.
Fahnlander was cited with failure to maintain control.
