(Sibley)– A two-vehicle collision Monday on the exit/entrance ramp of Highway 60 at 170th Street in Osceola county sent one person to the hospital.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 35-year-old Bradley Loerts of Sibley was driving a 2012 Kenworth truck eastbound on 170th Street 30-year-old Nancy Burnett of Ashton was driving a 1995 Chrysler northbound on Highway 60 when they were involved in a broadside collision.
Burnett was taken to Osceola Community Hospital with incapacitating injuries.
$3,000 in damage was estimated to the vehicle driven by Burnett; The truck driven by Loerts and owned by the Cooperative Energy Company of Sibley sustained an estimated $10,000 in damage.
Burnett was cited with failure to obey a stop sign, failure to prove security against liability and failure to wear a seatbelt.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Sibley Fire and Rescue and the Sibley Ambulance.
The crash took place around 9:00 a.m.
