(Sherburn, Mn.)– A two-vehicle collision Sunday night on Highway Four at Martin County Road 13 near Sherburn sent one person to the hospital.
The Minnesota State Patrol says vehicles driven by a 16-year-old, who’s name wasn’t being released by authorities, and 33-year-old Melissa Engel of Granada, Minnesota, collided in the intersection.
No injuries were reported to the 16-year-old driver or to three teen passengers in the vehicle, all from the Sherburn and Trimont areas.
Engel was taken by ambulance to the Fairmont hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.
Severe damage was reported to a 2001 Mazda driven by the unidentified 16-year-old and to a 2006 Chevrolet Uplander Engel was driving.
The collision took place around 11:30 p.m.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Sherburn Police Department, the Sherburn Fire Department and the Sherburn ambulance.
