(Rodman)– A single-vehicle crash this past Wednesday in Palo Alto county resulted in minor injuries to four teens.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says the driver of a 2008 Ford Focus lost control. The vehicle went into the ditch and hit a culvert. It then went airborne.
Upon arriving on the scene west of Rodman, deputies located the vehicle in a field drive and four juveniles who had been in it walking toward Rodman. All complained of minor injuries. Three of the four wound up being transported to the Palo Alto County Hospital for treatment.
Upon investigating deputies determined a 14-year-old male juvenile from Emmetsburg had been driving the vehicle. He was cited for no driver’s license.
The vehicle was totaled.
