(Spirit Lake)– The curves on Highway 86 at the Iowa/Minnesota border have once again taken a semi driver by surprise.
It happened shortly after noon Thursday.

Evans was treated on the scene for minor injuries.
He was cited for failure to maintain control.
$35,000 in damage was estimated to the semi tractor, trailer and the load.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Dickinson County Emergency Management, Iowa D.O.T Motor Vehicle Enforcement Division, the Iowa State Patrol, Lakes Regional Healthcare Ambulance; Spirit Lake First Responders and Jennings Tow and Repair.
