(Milford)– The Milford city council Monday evening voted unanimously to adopt an ordinance establishing a motel/hotel tax in the city. It comes on the heels of the measure receiving heavy support from voters in an election earlier this month.

A letter of support for the tax from the owners of Boulders Inn and Suites, a new hotel being constructed on the city’s north side, was also presented to the council.
