(Sutherland)– Minor injuries were reported Tuesday in a two-vehicle collision near Sutherland.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says Will Friedrichsen of Sutherland was turning out of a farm driveway when he collided with a vehicle driven by Carey Brown of Sutherland.
Deputies say the impact of the crash caused Brown’s vehicle to travel through a gate and into an adjacent field. Friedrichsen’s vehicle came to rest on the road.
A passenger in Friedrichsen’s vehicle, Lily Friedrichsen of Sutherland, was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.
$2,500 in damage was estimated to a 1997 Buick driven by Friedrichsen; a 2003 Ford Brown was driving sustained an estimated $8,000 in damage.
The collision took place around 8:00 a.m.
