(Spirit Lake)– A long time lakes area realtor is getting some accolades.
Marilyn Strickland was recently named by the Iowa Great Lakes Board of Realtors as it’s 2011 Realtor of the Year.
As of this coming February 17th, Strickland will have been a realtor for 28 years. 25 of those she has spent as a realtor/broker associate with Hoien Realty.

The award was announced at the Iowa Great Lakes Board of Realtors Fall Banquet earlier this month. In addition to Strickland, the event honored more than 25 realtor members from Estherville, Spencer and the Iowa Great Lakes for various professional achievements.
