(Arnolds Park)– The Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce is putting out it’s annual call for nominations for Winter Games cheerleaders.
Nominees must be from Dickinson county. Other criteria includes someone with a ready smile, cheerful disposition and a generous heart; a person with passion and zeal in promoting the Iowa Great Lakes; a person who’s enthusiastic about what the area has to offer and who has a deep concern for its history and future development; someone who has spirit and devotion and goes above and beyond the call of duty to encourage creative talents in students; and a person who is concerned about creating a cheerful and pleasant atmosphere for visitors and guests to the campus.
The nominee’s name will be submitted to the Winter Games Committee for consideration. Nominations must be received by noon January 6th, 2012. Voting will take place Monday, January 9th at the close the Winter Games meeting.
Eight cheerleaders will be honored and recognized as part of the 32nd annual University of Okoboji Winter Games January 27th-29th.
