(Estherville)– Officials with Iowa Lakes Community College announced today (Wed.) the hiring of Scott Stokes as the new Executive Dean at the Estherville campus.
Stokes was selected from a field of six finalists.
Stokes is no stranger to Iowa Lakes as he currently serves as the college’s Registrar, a position he’s held the past six years. Stokes also serves on the board of the Estherville Public Library.
Prior to serving as Registrar, Stokes worked at Iowa Lakes as the Housing Manager, Intramurals Coordinator and as Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach for two and-a-half years.
The college’s board of trustees will act on Stokes’ hiring at their meeting January 17th.
College officials say he’ll begin transitioning into the Executive Dean position after the first of the year.
