(Emmetsburg)– A Curlew man faces charges in connection with an alleged assault in Mallard.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to 306 South Street in Mallard shortly after 6:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Upon investigating, authorities arrested 36-year-old David Herring of Curlew. He was charged with two counts of simple assault and one count of interference with official acts.
Herring was booked into the Palo Alto county jail pending an initial court appearance.
