(Spencer)– Black Hills Energy has announced that Kristen Souder has joined the company as an operations supervisor serving the Spencer area and surrounding communities.
Souder will manage the maintenance and operation of the natural gas distribution system in the area and will oversee appliance repairs through Black Hills Energy’s Service Guard program.
Souder has a bachelor’s degree in environmental design and master’s degrees in architecture and construction management from Texas A & M University. She also formerly served as a natural gas field engineer at Alliant Energy where she coordinated pipeline installation, replacement projects and system maintenance.
The Spencer office of Black Hills Energy serves Arnolds Park, Estherville, Fonda, Fostoria, Milford, Okoboji, Orleans, Paullina, Pocahontas, Primghar, Royal, Spencer, Spirit Lake, Superior, Terril, Wahpeton, Wallingford and West Okoboji.
