(Arnolds Park)– Officials with Okoboji Summer Theatre and Stephens College, which owns and operates the facility, announced the upcoming season of productions as part of this past weekend’s University of Okoboji Winter Games.
The curtain goes up on the season June 12th with a family musical titled “The Marvelous Wonderettes”. That will be followed with “Book of Days” which will open June 19th. Two comedies will follow that, including “Crimes of the Heart”, opening June 26th, and Beau Just, opening July 3rd.
“Little Women”, a family musical, takes the stage July 10th; “Ravenscroft”, a mystery, opens July 17th, followed by a farce titled “The Liar”, opening July 24th.
“The Last Romance”, a love story, opens July 31st. The season closes with the musical “Chicago”, which takes the stage August 7th.
