(Spirit Lake)– The eight inches plus of snow we have on the ground now is bringing snowmobiles out of hibernation. Many operators brought them out earlier in the season, only to turn around and put them back into storage due to the extremely mild conditions. But they’re back out in force now with all that white stuff on the ground. Jeff Morrison, a Conservation Officer with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, is reminding snowmobile owners that they need to make sure their registration is up to date before hitting the trails…Click here for comment from Jeff Morrison
Morrison says officers will be keeping a close eye out for expired registrations, especially this weekend for Winter Games.
