(Harris)– A Harris man escaped injury in a single-vehicle rollover Sunday on Highway 9 just west of the Dickinson/Osceola county line.
The Iowa State Patrol says 41-year-old Kyle Stafford of Harris was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer westbound when he lost control on the ice-covered road. The vehicle crossed the center line and slid sideways into the ditch, rolling once before coming to rest.
$3,000 in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by Harris Fire and Rescue.
The crash took place around 5:30 p.m.
