(Lakefield, Mn.)– A two-vehicle collision involving a car and a semi Thursday evening on Highway 86 just south of Interstate 90 sent one person to the hospital.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 37-year-old Jade Etienne of Spirit Lake was driving a 1998 Dodge pickup which crossed the center line and collided with the duals of a 2008 Volvo semi and trailer driven by 51-year-old Paul Miller of Fairmont.
Etienne was taken to Lakes Regional Healthcare for treatment of minor injuries. No injuries were reported to Miller.
Moderate damage was reported to the semi; severe damage to the pickup.
The collision took place shortly before 6:30 p.m.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
