(Spirit Lake)– The city of Spirit Lake is thinking about converting a green space in the Southern Hills area into right-of-way, transferring the maintenance of that area, including mowing, to 17 neighboring lot owners.
Public Works Director Dwight Dohlman told the city council earlier this week the city has been getting complaints from lot owners over how the area is mowed. Following further discussion, the council decided to go ahead with the meeting with the neighboring lot owners. That session is set for 5:15 p.m. Thursday, February 23rd in the council chambers at city hall.
