(Blue Earth, Mn.)– Authorities have released the name of a man killed in a home invasion in Blue Earth.
Officials say 37-year-old Christopher Michael Fulmer of Blue Earth died of blunt force trauma.
Authorities are still searching for the weapon used, but say he was bludgeoned with a tool or tools when a masked man entered his home early Monday.
A suspect is in the Faribault county jail and is expected to be formally charged in the next few days. The Bureau of Criminal Investigation says the suspect is the husband of 38-year-old Candice Marie Freeman of Ceylon.
Freeman and her teenage daughters, ages 19 and 15, were seriously injured in the attach. They are at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. Their conditions aren’t being released.
Freeman’s 6-year-old daughter was uninjured.
