(Sheldon)– A single-vehicle rollover Sunday evening in O’Brien county injured a Sheldon teen.
The Iowa State Patrol says 18-year-old Daniel Boer of Sheldon was driving a 2006 Pontiact northbound on a county road when he lost control on some slush. The vehicle went into the east ditch where it went into a creek and rolled onto its top.
Boer was taken by private vehicle to the Sheldon hospital where he was checked over for possible injuries.
$10,000 in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
Boer was cited for failure to maintain control.
The crash took place around 6:00 p.m.
