Greenville man arrested following probation search

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Greenville, Iowa man following a probation search last week.

On March 7, Officers searched 26 year old James Cadwell’s residence, and found two handguns and a bag of marijuana. Cadwell was placed under arrest and was transported to the Clay County Jail. Cadwell was charged with Possesion of a Firearm as a Felon which is a Class D Felony and Possession of Marijuana, an Aggravated Misdemeanor. Cadwell was held on a $5000 bond.
