O’Brien County Drug Investigation Results In Multiple Arrests

(Primghar)– An investigation into illegal drug activity in O’Brien county has resulted in charges against six people.

The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says the arrests were made Wednesday and that they stem from search warrants executed earlier this month on a couple of apartments in Primghar. They resulted in authorities finding what’s alleged to be drug paraphernalia and marijuana.

21-year-old Ryan Coates of Primghar was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia and supplying alcohol.

24-year-old Samantha Dowd, 20-year-old Emily Otto and 28-year-old William Collins, the second…all of Primghar…were arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

34-year-old Carissa Collins of Hartley was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; and 18-year-old Bobbi Collins, also of Hartley, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

All have been released from jail on bond pending future court appearances.
