(Spencer)– Officials with the Spencer Chamber of Commerce announced this (Wed.) morning a change in venue for its Eggs and Issues Legislative Forum coming up Saturday, March 24th. The event originally was scheduled to be held in the council chambers at Spencer City Hall, but has now been moved to the Spencer Community Theatre.
Chamber officials say an expected large crowd resulted in the change.
Governor Terry Branstad and a number of local law makers are among those scheduled to be on hand.
The event will run from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., with doors opening to the public at 8:00 a.m. Saturday (March 24th) at Spencer Community Theatre.
The public will be asked to submit questions in writing. They will then be read by a moderator and will be directed to the designated elected official.
