(Sheldon)– A traffic stop Friday in O’Brien resulted in the arrest of a Minnesota woman on drug charges.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy conducted the stop shortly after 1:30 a.m. Friday on Highway 60 near Sheldon. A subsequent investigation resulted in the discovery of a small amount of what’s alleged to be marijuana.
29-year-old Erin Belfrey of Minneapolis was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Belfrey was booked into the O’Brien county jail and was released after posting a $1,000 surety bond, pending a future court appearance.
