Branstad: State Employees Should Pay Atleast Part Of Their Health Insurance

November 22, 2014

(Arnolds Park)– State government employees should do their part to help with the state’s financial wellbeing. That’s the feeling of Governor Terry Branstad. He’s calling on state employees to begin paying atleast 20 percent of their health insurance coverage…Click here for comment from Gov. Branstad

The Governor feels that if they’re able to get the balance of non-union employees to do that, that it could serve as a bargaining chip with the others.

Branstad made his comments during Saturday’s legislative forum in Arnolds Park.
