Public’s Assistance Requested In Tracking Down Shoplifter

(Spirit Lake)– The Spirit Lake Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance as it investigates an incident in which a shoplifter made off with more than $1,000 in electronic items from the Spirit Lake Wal-Mart store.

Police say the incident took place around 2:30 a.m. Friday, March 23rd. Authorities say an unknown man and woman (see photos below) entered the store and picked up several items, including a 42 inch Visio flat screen t.v., a video surveillance system and a digital camera.

The suspects then got into a dark-color SUV similar to a Jeep Grand Cherokee (see photo).

Anyone with information or anyone who has seen or know the suspects should contact Dickinson Crime Stoppers at (712) 336-2345. A reward of $200 is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest in the case.
