(Spencer)– The Clay County Fair has landed another major act for this year’s line up of grandstand entertainment.
Fair officials say county music superstar Chris Young will perform in front of the grandstand Sunday, September 9th at 7:30 p.m. with special guest Thompson Square.
Young was named best-selling new male artist in 2006 and was nominated for the Academy of Country Music’s Top New Male Vocalist Award.
Other acts that have already been announced for this year’s fair include Air Supply and Rick Springfield September 11th; Casting Crowns September 15th and Jeff Foxworthy September 16th.
Ticket information will be available later this spring.
