Milford Man Wanted On Warrant For Meth Conspiracy Taken Into Custody

November 22, 2014

(Spencer)– A Milford man wanted on a warrant for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine has been apprehended by authorities.

25-year-old Josh Springer was taken into custody March 30th at a residence at 504 “P” Avenue in Milford by members of the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Division of Criminal Investigation, and the Milford Police Department. Springer was booked into the Clay County Jail on a $100,000 cash bond.

Authorities say the investigation stems from a traffic stop on October 18th of last year in Spencer in which Springer was allegedly found to be in possession of multiple items used in meth labs.

A further investigation by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa DCI has shown that Springer and others were allegedly involved in the manufacturing of meth in the Spencer area during October of last year.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
