(Spirit Lake)– A traffic stop Thursday evening in Spirit Lake resulted in a drug charge being filed against an Ocheyedan man.
The Spirit Lake Police Department says an officer conducted the stop in the 2100 block of Highway 9 around 7:00 p.m. Upon investigating police determined the driver, 35-year-old Eric Langfitt of Ocheyedan, had a revoked driver’s license.
A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up what’s alleged to be drug paraphernalia.
Langfitt was booked into the Dickinson county jail on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while revoked and speeding…all simple misdemeanors.
