Arrests Made In Connection With Hardees Burglary

November 22, 2014

(Spencer)—Two suspects have been taken into custody and charged in connection with a burglary late last Thursday or early Friday at the Hardees restaurant in Spencer. Entry was made by breaking out a window. An undetermined amount of cash and change was reported missing.

Surveillance footage showed a suspect wearing disguise attempting to gain entry to the restaurant’s safe.

On Saturday, police obtained and executed a search warrant at 721 6th Avenue in connection with the investigation. Authorities recovered a wig and a hockey style mask, the same as what could be seen in the surveillance video. Some money was also recovered at the location.
27-year-old Lloyd Mack of Spencer was charged with burglary in the third degree and 24-year-old Terrance Jackson of Spencer was charged with conspiracy.

Mack and Jackson were booked into the Clay county jail pending an initial court appearance.
