Mock Crash Organizers Hope Students Get The Message

(Spirit Lake)– It may all have just been a drill, but organizers of a deadly mock crash involving two cars at the corner of Hill Avenue and 25th Street in Spirit Lake hope it will drive home an important message to students during prom and graduation season.

The exercise even included a medical helicopter (see photo) that landed in a grassy area just north of Spirit Lake High School as hundreds of students and community members looked on.
