(Milford)– The Okoboji High School Concert Choir and Concert Band traveled to Emmetsburg Saturday to participate in the Iowa High School Music Association’s State Large Group Music Festival.
The Concert Choir received a Division Two, excellent rating; the Concert Band earned a Division One, or superior rating.
The Okoboji High School Concert Band has earned a Division One rating 16 out of the last 17 years in that competition.
The groups will be featured along with the Bel Canto Choir, Jazz Choir and Jazz Band in their annual Spring Concert Tuesday, May 15th at 7:30 p.m. at the Okoboji High School Auditorium. Admission will be $5 for adults and $4 for students.
