(Webb)– An investigation into a tip of drug activity at a residence in Webb landed two people in jail earlier this week on drug charges.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says based on the tip, deputies obtained and executed a search warrant Wednesday evening on a residence in Webb. Deputies turned up what’s alleged to be marijuana and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
23-year-old Johnathon Koenig and 49-year-old Tara Koenig were arrested and transported to jail.
Johnathon Koenig was charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…a serious misdemeanor, and possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor. Tara Koenig was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Authorities say the case remains under investigation and that additional arrests are expected.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol and the Clay County Attorney’s Office.
