(Spirit Lake)—A lakes area garden center is getting some special recognition.
For the second year in a row, Ferguson’s Garden Center in Spirit Lake has been recognized with the prestigious Revolutionary 100 Award. The award recognizes the most innovative retail garden center operations for their commitment to create a customer experience that sets their operation apart from the rest in a way that helps them to be profitable.
Participants are required to complete a questionnaire dealing with marketing strategies, operations management theories and implementation, employee education, customer service programs and community/industry association stewardship.
The elite group of 100 becomes a resource for discussing industry trends and benchmarking ideas to share within the industry throughout the year.
The Revolutionary 100 Award is presented by Today’s Garden Center Magazine.
There are more than 15,000 garden centers in the country.
