(Spencer)– A Havelock man sustained minor injuries earlier this week when a vehicle he was driving collided with a deer on Highway 10 in Clay county.
The Sheriff’s Office says 57-year-old George Pirie was driving a 2004 Honda westbound when a deer jumped out in front of him, resulting in a collision.
A news release doesn’t say whether Pirie sought immediate medical attention.
$5,000 in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
The collision took place around 11:00 a.m. in the 1,400 mile of Highway 10.
