(Ames)– The Iowa Transportation Commission Tuesday approved a Revitalize Iowa’s Sound Economy (RISE) grant for the city of Rock Rapids.
The city will receive up to $123,895 to assist in the construction of a street north of Highway on the city’s northeast side. The project is part of a site development for Simply Said’s viny wall decor manufacturing and distribution facility.
Economic development officials say the project will create 25 new jobs and result in $950,000 in associated capital investment.
