Jackson Implement Dealer Plans Large Expansion

(Jackson, Mn.)– A major economic development announcement today (Wed.) out of Jackson.

C & B Operations, LLC, parent company of Tri-County Implement of Jackson, announced it is purchasing 18 acres of land from the Jackson Economic Development Corporation for a new $3.7 million John Deere implement sales, service and training facility. The land is located on Jackson County Road 34 and fronts Interstate 90.  Sandy Phillips of the Jackson Economic Development Corporation says it was part of a land swap between the city of Jackson and the JEDC…(click here for comment from Phillips.)

Developer R & M Commercial Properties, Incorporated plans to start construction early this summer. The new facility is expected to be operational in 2013.

Matt Cronin, an owner of the Tri County Implement location in Jackson, says the availability of that land played a major role in their decision to locate the expanded facility in that community…(click here for comment from Cronin.)

Tri County Implement currently employs 11 people in Jackson. The expansion will result in two additional jobs within two years and will include an expanded shop, classroom and state-of-the-art training facility.
