(Spirit Lake)– A nearly year-long drug investigation by the Spirit Lake Police Department, Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force has resulted in the arrest of a Milford man.
Spirit Lake police say as a result, they were able to obtain an arrest warrant for 37-year-old Heath Willison of Milford. Willison was arrested today (Mon.) by the Milford Police Department on charges of ongoing criminal conduct…a class “B” felony; and five counts of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine and marijuana) with intent to deliver…class “D” felonies.
Police say the investigation involved numerous buys of marijuana and methamphetamine they allegedly made from Willison.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are likely.
