(Spirit Lake)– Dickinson County Attorney Jason Carlstrom has submitted his letter of resignation to the Dickinson County Board of Supervisors.
As we reported earlier this week, Carlstrom has been appointed by Governor Terry Branstad as Chairman of the Iowa Parole Board effective September 2nd, 2012. His resignation as Dickinson County Attorney is to be effective September 3rd.
Carlstrom submitted his letter of resignation to the supervisors via email late Tuesday, and requested the matter be placed on the agenda for their meeting this coming Tuesday, July 10th.
